A Light Surprise

Last week, I walked outside to the most incredible light.  I fumbled with my camera, not knowing what setting to use on the little point-and-shoot.  I ended up using landscape mode, even though I wasn't shooting a landscape, and this happened.

Blurry?  Yes, a bit.  Ethereal?  That, too.

Sometimes I wish I had a fancy camera and the knowledge to use it, but sometimes my little camera surprises me.

our wedding day: kl phy's thoughts

Katie and Cory’s wedding at St. Luke’s Episcopal in Anchorage « KL Phy Photography.

She is really a fantastic photographer and was so fun to work with.  We hired Kathy only six weeks before the wedding, and I never met her until the wedding day, but we got along right away.  I think we had the same sort of vision for the photos, because so far, I want to frame every single image.  Actually, I want to print every single image and tack them up to my wall so I can look at them all the time.  Our landlord may object, though.

Yeah, I enjoyed the wedding day.  A lot.  I can't wait to see more.
